Mr. Osama Heikal, EMPC chairman, signed a cooperation protocol with Mr. Mahmoud Al-Hashemi, the executive director of the Emirati Ajman Media City, to launch new investments in various media, economic and training fields between both parties, in addition to seeking EMPC expertise as it is considered the biggest media edifice in the region. They signed the protocol in the presence of EMPC senior officials and a delegation from Ajman Media City.
Heikal welcomed this important step that will help establishing new co-investment projects and emphasized the strong Egyptian-Emirati ties between the two nations and political leaders as well. After signing the protocol, the two parties exchanged memorial gifts and shields
Afterwards, Heikal gave the delegation a hint about EMPC facilities and its most important amenities mentioning that EMPC comprised 79 fully equipped studios that are used by the most famous Arabic and Egyptian satellite channels to broadcast their content via the Nile Sat.
Heikal added that EMPC had future plans to establish more spacious studios in addition to the Dolby Atoms studio, the latest in sound recording worldwide, that is rented by many Arabic production companies.
Heikal said that EMPC had educational activities as it comprised the International Academy for Engineering and Media Sciences (IAEMS) with its three departments, mentioning that EMPC is currently studying to turn it into a standalone university. Heikal referred to EMPC outdoor shooting areas as being safer than those of our competitors, thanks to the regular acts of renovation.
For his part, Al-Hashemi was excited to visit EMPC as it is considered a source of pride for all Arabs, pointing out to the importance of signing this protocol to boost mutual co-operation in the near future.
