A delegation of African editors-in-chief and senior media professionals visited recently EMPC within the context of their current visit to Egypt to attend the annual program activities organized by the “Egyptian Partnership Agency for Development”. The tour included EMPC back lots, the Dolby Atmos sound studio, the Heritage Restoration center and EMPC training center.
Osama Heikal, EMPC Chairman of the Board, confirmed the growing Egyptian interest in the relations with the African nations and its strategic importance to Egypt that was previously stated and confirmed by the Egyptian Constitution.
He added that Egypt, as the current president of the African Union, is offering all possible means of support to strengthen the inter-African ties in all fields. Moreover, Heikal stressed the importance of enriching the cultural relations among the African nations, mentioning in the mean time, EMPC readiness to offer its facilities for the African production companies wishing to produce their works through EMPC.
Finally, Heikal called the African editors-in-chief to open up prospects of mutual co-operation with EMPC in the fields of media, culture and training of African media cadres.
