          H.E Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Egypt and the permanent representative at the League of Arab States, praised the strength of the Egyptian-Bahraini relations and the distinction they are currently witnessing at all levels.

This came during her visit to the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), during which she expressed her great happiness and admiration for its artistic and technical amenities, especially the technical and artistic centers it contains. As they were established according to the highest technical standards in comparison to their counterparts from the international media cities, the matter that contributes to enriching the cultural and artistic movement in the Arab region.

Abdel Fattah Al-Gibali, EMPC Chairman of the Board, welcomed the visit of the Ambassador at this important time, hoping that this visit would contribute to strengthening the media and cultural cooperation between the two countries, especially since the mutual relations are currently witnessing a state of prosperity and strength at both, the popular and official levels in all fields.  under the wise leadership of both, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting discussed media relations and ways to develop them in several fields of common interest. Al-Gibali briefed the Ambassador on EMPC technical capabilities and its state-of-the-art studios from which the most famous Egyptian and Arab satellite channels broadcast their content, in addition to the most advanced technical, artistic and training centers. Finally, Al-Gibali confirmed EMPC’s full readiness to provide all possible facilities and capabilities to our brothers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially in the fields of training media cadres and exchanging visits. 

For her part, H.E the Ambassador of Bahrain expressed her hope to strengthen the existing ties of cooperation between the two countries in order to achieve common interests and to benefit from the technical capabilities and human expertise at EMPC. 

She also added that there is a great intention to provide full support towards pushing relations between the two countries to broader horizons at all political, media and cultural levels, and to open new areas to enhance the existing cooperation between them. 

H.E Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah started her visit to EMPC by watching a documentary highlighting its history City and the stages of development it has witnessed, especially recently, until it has become one of the largest media and economic entities in the Middle East. After that, she had a tour that included the Audiovisual Heritage Center through which the photographic treasures of old movies are preserved, protected from deterioration and preserved for future generations. She also visited the UP SKILL training center, with its scientific halls and advanced equipment, and listened to an explanation from the supervisors it on how it operates. 

She also visited the Dolby Atmos Center, which is considered the most advanced worldwide in the fields of sound and mixing applications and is certified by Dolby International. At the end of the tour, H.E went to the back lots, where she saw a number of productions being filmed. She also learned about the ongoing preparations to film many works in the coming period.

It is noteworthy to mention that H.E. Ambassador Fawzia holds the Order of Bahrain, First Class, and previously chaired the House of Representatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain, during the fifth legislative term, as the first woman to hold this position. She also chaired the Arab Parliamentary Union, in addition to her membership in many international, Arab and local committees. Moreover, she was the first woman to hold the position of head of television programs at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
