Within the framework of EMPC's strategy to attract global investments and open new horizons for cooperation with major global economic institutions, a delegation from the Japanese investment alliance "Titan Capital" headed by Mr. Kanazawa Yukio, visited the city. “Titan Capital” is considered one of the strongest economic alliances in Japan, as it includes a number of big economic companies and institutions with famous brands, in several fields, including real estate, finance, banks, film production companies, and the cars industry.

The delegation's visit to EMPC comes on the sidelines of its visit to explore investment opportunities in Egypt in general, open new investment markets outside Japan, and cooperate with the Egyptian government to implement Japanese investment projects in Egypt, especially in the New Administrative Capital.

The delegation began its visit by watching a film highlighting the history of EMPC and the stages of its development, until it has become one of the largest media and economic entities in the Middle East, with studios equipped with the state-of-the-art technical methods, from which the most famous Arab and Egyptian channels were launched. That’s in addition to the technical centers and backlots which are characterized by the diversity in their architectural styles, whether historical or contemporary and they are also suitable for all types of filming. In this context, the delegation discussed ways of future cooperation with the city, especially in the field of filming Japanese movies at EMPC and organizing international artistic concerts.

After that, the delegation had a tour around the city to closely inspect its filming capabilities and amenities. They visited the Audio-Visual Heritage Center, through which the photographic treasures of old movies are preserved, protected from deterioration and preserved for future generations. They also visited the Dolby Atmos studio, which is the latest of its kind in the world in the field of audio recording applications and certified by Dolby International. The delegation also visited the studio of Al-Ghad channel, which is considered the newest at EMPC.

The delegation then visited the backlots, where they saw the ongoing renovation works that are currently taking place, in preparation for the filming of new productions.

At the end of the visit, the head of the delegation and its members expressed their great admiration for EMPC’s state-of-the-art technical and artistic capabilities, modern studios and technical centers that place it among the major media cities.
